David Silva is a twenty three year old Spanish soccer playing all star. Silva currently plays for Valencia CF and the Spanish national team. Traditionally Silva plays as a number 10, although he has the athleticism to play on either side of the midfield.

In the year 2004 as an 18 year old, David Silva made his professional soccer debut Segunda Divison's SD Eibar. On that team Silva suited up for 35 games and scored on five different occasions. The following year, again on loan from Valencia CF, Silva played for Celta de Vigo where he would dress for 34 games and score on four seperate occasions. After several late substitition's he cemented himself as an undisputed starter for Celta de Vigo.

On June 21, 2007 Silva took his professional prowess to the next level by signing a seven year contract with Valencia CF, which is a clear indication that Silva is one of the organizations brightest up and coming stars. In his first two full seasons with Valencia, Silva was only absent for six matches, and managed to put the ball into the net 14 times. 

Although an ankle ailment sidelined Silva for the starting part of the 2008-2009 season, he returned to the call up's in mid December and would score two goals on January 3rd against Atletico de Madrid. 

Internationally, Silva made his debut for the Spanish national team in the 2003 Fifa U-17 World Championships in Finland, in which he scored three goals. In the year 2006, Silva was named an under 21 international, and would go on to score four goals during the 2005 Fifa Youth World Championships, this performance earned him a top goal scorer ranking, alongside Italian sensation Graziano Pelle. Silva would get several other call ups that would culminate with the 2008 altercation between Silva and a German player that would end up getting Silva sidelined by his coach.
